VOLUNTEERS

The work we do would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of our volunteers. From the moment an injured raptor is reported, to the day it is ready for release, community support plays a vital role at every stage of the rehabilitation process.

Our field-rescue volunteers are the first point of contact for injured birds, responding throughout our service area on short notice. Their quick action ensures birds are rescued and safely transported to receive timely care.

Our hospital volunteers play an essential role in daily operations by assisting with meal preparation, feeding, cleaning, enclosure maintenance, and observation, which allows our veterinary and rehabilitation staff to focus on medical treatment and recovery. Their consistency and care help create a calm, structured environment that supports each raptor’s healing process.
