Our team will provide instructions on how to safely contain the bird and determine next steps for transport to our hospital. Do not attempt to feed or handle the bird until you are instructed to. We are a nonprofit raptor rehabilitation hospital
dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and protecting birds of prey. Our fully equipped hospital, staffed by an on-site veterinarian, allows us to provide advanced medical care to injured and orphaned raptors, with support from dedicated hospital volunteers who assist with daily care and trained field-rescue volunteers who respond to injured birds throughout Northwest Wisconsin. Each year, we care for birds of prey impacted by habitat loss, vehicle collisions, poisoning, and other human-related causes, including orphaned nestlings and fledglings that may not survive without intervention. Every bird receives individualized care, from emergency treatment through rehabilitation and conditioning, with a focus on preserving the natural behaviors and survival skills needed for release.
